Who we are

We are the backbone of our senior day program, a truly dedicated team bound by a singular, powerful mission: to provide exceptional care for individuals living with dementia. Owned by Fruita, Grand Junction and Palisade locals.

A Century of Compassion

Together, our caregivers, nurses, administrators, and activity directors bring nearly a century of combined experience to the table. This isn't just a number; it represents a deep well of knowledge, countless moments of empathy, and a profound understanding of the unique challenges faced by those with dementia and their families. We leverage this wealth of experience to offer not just support, but a genuine enhancement of life quality for every individual we serve.

Giving Back, Making a Difference

Our commitment extends beyond daily tasks. We are united by a heartfelt desire to give back to the community, utilizing our diverse talents to make a tangible, positive difference. Every smile encouraged, every activity shared, and every moment of comfort provided is a testament to our collective dedication. We believe that by working together, we can truly brighten the lives of individuals affected by dementia, offering them and their families a beacon of hope and unwavering support.
The Crisis and Our Calling: Happy Days Senior Day Program

Experience has revealed a heartbreaking truth: the rising cost of long-term care leaves too many families in crisis. They find themselves caught between overwhelming financial burdens and the desperate need for quality memory care, often with too many assets for Medicaid but not enough to afford the care their loved ones desperately need. They need a place that offers exceptional dementia activity programs tailored to individual needs, alongside a vital resource center to guide them through the challenging journey ahead.
This realization birthed Happy Days Senior Day Program and Resource Center. We are developing a unique, interdisciplinary Senior Day Program for cognitively impaired adults over 55, working closely with Angela our Activity Director and local college Occupational Therapy and Nursing students. Our vision is simple yet profound: to empower caregivers and individuals living with dementia to thrive at home for as long as possible. We are committed to accessibility, with a not-for-profit component providing scholarships to those who qualify, who cannot afford our care.
Happy Days is more than a program; it's a testament to a lifetime of dedication, a promise to our community, and a legacy built on love.

We believe
Every moment matters and every person is more than their memories
Donate to Our Scholarship Fund
This fund is designed to bridge that gap, offering a lifeline to families who are unable to meet the full cost of our specialized care. By providing direct financial aid, the scholarship ensures that more individuals living with dementia can benefit from our dedicated team of caregivers, nurses, administrators, and activity directors. It allows them to participate in enriching activities, receive essential support, and maintain a higher quality of life in a safe and nurturing environment.
